• In one year, completed the following for a statewide assessment program for 3rd grade through end-of-course in Reading and Writing:

  • 200 copyrighted Reading passages/pairs with 720 associated items 

  • 225 embedded error passages with 400 associated items and writing prompts

  • Facilitated bias and content reviews for all item sets

• Acted as the primary vendor for an off-the-shelf curriculum and assessment project for national distribution:

  • Approximately 230 reading passages

  • 84 embedded error passages

  • 1,276 multiple choice, 160 constructed response, and 60 technology-enhanced items, all with quality control checks and answer key reviews

  • Accommodated the client’s need for an accelerated schedule in the final months of the project, taking in-house the client’s responsibilities and working independently to complete the project on time

• Planned and developed over 285 six-item mathematics quizzes (1,728 items) to accompany 2nd grade through 8th grade instructional materials customized for a particular state:

  • 60–80% innovative multiple-choice, short constructed-response, and/or technology enhanced items in each quiz

  • One or two multipart items with a shared stimulus in each quiz

• Developed 2,625 kindergarten through 8th grade mathematics items for an off-the shelf product customized for particular states

• Coordinated and supervised a focused review of 9,000+ test items using bias/sensitivity criteria during a three-week period; project required rapid training, calibration, and monitoring of 18 independent contractors to ensure on-time delivery
